The new capital of Egypt

The new capital of Egypt is the mega-project of North Africa and the prestige object of Egypt and the new government. It is being built just under 50 kilometers east of Cairo on a total area of 700 square kilometers. The city, which still has no name, will be designed to accommodate five million inhabitants.

This includes the Iconic Tower, which is still under construction and, at 385 meters, is to replace "The Leonardo" as Africa's tallest building. The building is part of a new business and office district that will include over 20 skyscrapers. It will have 80 floors and will be used as an office building.

CHEMOFAST is pleased to contribute to the construction of the new Egyptian capital. With the exclusive distribution partnership, CHEMOFAST also assumes great responsibility. In addition to providing the chemical heavy-duty anchorages, CHEMOFAST also supports the construction engineers and structural engineers with its experience and expertise as a technical consultant. For example, important static calculations for fastenings, taking into account all safety-relevant factors for structural design, are carried out by our engineers from the application technology department. Practical tips and technical instruction in the use of chemical fastening products or training courses complement the support services.
