Metal anchors are characterized by their comparatively simple and quick installation. Despite the uncomplicated installation of a Chemofast Wedge Anchor made of galvanized steel or A4 stainless steel, the product achieves considerable load values in non-cracked as well as cracked concrete of strength classes C20/25 to C50/60 and scores with its durability. The load-bearing capacity is ensured by an expansion mechanism in the concrete. The spreading effect is already generated during installation by a controlled applied torque or by a controlled applied displacement. Another major advantage is the direct loading capacity of the anchor. Even with very small center distances and edge distances, the highest load-bearing capacities are guaranteed. All offered Wedge Anchors have been tested with regard to their product performance by the German Institute for Structural Engineering and have been approved by a European technical approval (ETA for short). Chemofast's wide range of products makes it possible to carry out mechanical anchoring in almost any commercial size range. Depending on the product (Wedge Anchor BA Galvanized Steel / BA Stainless Steel A4 or Wedge Anchor BA Pro Galvanized Steel / BA Pro A4 Stainless Steel), the product application range covers both internal and external fixings in non-cracked as well as cracked concrete and even easily withstands seismic loads of classes C1 and C2. The heavy-duty anchors are ideal for push-in, push-through as well as spaced installations and also function reliably in compression-resistant natural stone. Chemofast's high quality bolt anchors are available in M8, M10, M12 and M16 sizes and various lengths, and their size units easily represent all common heavy-duty mechanical fastening applications.
