The load-bearing capacity is ensured by an expansion mechanism in the concrete. The spreading effect is already generated during installation by a controlled applied torque or by a controlled applied displacement. Another major advantage is the direct loading capacity of the anchor. Even with very small center distances and edge distances, the highest load-bearing capacities are guaranteed. All offered Wedge Anchors have been tested with regard to their product performance by the German Institute for Structural Engineering and have been approved by a European technical approval (ETA for short).
