VOC / Frensh VOC
Volatile organic compounds (VOC) is the collective term for organic substances, i.e. substances containing carbon, which change into the gas phase at room temperature or higher by evaporation (colloquially "vaporization"), i.e. they are volatile.
The regulation has been implemented since 2012 and includes the introduction of emission classes (A+, B , C and D) based on limit values for volatile organic compounds and aldehydes, after an incubation period of 28 days.
The introduction on the French market of products covered by these regulations is subject to an obligation to label the emission class.
